According to my server logs, your browser downloaded the HTML files and javascript, but didn't request any of the XML data storing the route information... I don't know why that happened. Anyways, I've just updated both maps to use the new Google Maps API 2.0. Let me know if anyone sees any problems. The only real difference you'll see is the ability to zoom in further in satellite/hybrid view - but I don't think Google has added any extra data for Vancouver or Toronto, so there's no more detail there.
